Attends the New York premiere of Myra Breckinridge on June 24, 1970. The party, held at the Iperbole restaurant, brought out several of the film’s stars, including Mae West, Raquel Welch and Rex Reed. Also present were comedians Jerry Lewis and Henny Youngman who undoubtedly found the flick hilarious. Based on Gore Vidal’s 1968 novel of the same name, about a sex change, the movie was cited by some critics as one of the worst ever made.
