Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who used to be an inquiring photographer for a newspaper before marrying John F. Kennedy, attended the opening of a photo exhibit on Nov. 6, 1978, the fourth anniversary of the International Center of Photography in New York. As a trustee of the museum, she tries to attend all its major functions. She toured the museum with its founding president, Cornell Capa. Born Kornel Friedmann in Budapest, he was a famous photojournalist just like his brother Robert Capa, who cofounded Magnum Photos.
