At the 17th annual Grammy Awards on May 1, 1975, at the Uris Theater in New York, John Lennon (and Paul Simon) presented the Record of the Year Award to Olivia Newton-John for I Honestly Love You. Roberta Flack got two nominations: Record of the Year for Feel Like Makin’ Love, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. She was last year’s Record of the Year winner.
